Oscars 2010 Poster, Featuring Steve Martin Alec Baldwin
For Hollywood’s elite, March 7th can’t come quickly enough: The gowns, the lights, and the comedic stylings of hosting duo Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin.
The guys will be sharing duties as Masters of Ceremonies at this year’s Academy Awards, and both Martin and Baldwin and photographed perched highly atop the shoulders of an Oscar statuette on this newly-released poster promoting next month’s show.

Taylor Swift is only 20 years old, but she's already won four Grammy Awards, was the youngest person to ever be named the CMA Entertainer of the Year, stars in the upcoming flick "Valentine's Day," and just dropped $2 million on a swanky 4,062-square-foot penthouse in Nashville, Tennessee.
"I'm so excited," Taylor tells In Touch Weekly of her luxurious new home in the 18-story Adelicia building, which features 3 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen. Not bad for a girl who grew up on a Christmas tree farm in Pennsylvania!
When her tour for Fearless winds down in June, Swift says she's looking forward to decorating her new pad in a "quirky, whimsical style." Of course, she already has plenty of ideas up her sleeve.
"It's going to be my fantasy world," she revealed in Rolling Stone. "The ceiling of my living room is painted like the night sky. There's a pond in the living room ... The pond is a moat around the fireplace and may possibly have koi fish in it. You step on a stepping stone in the pond in order to get on a spiral staircase, which takes you up to the human-sized bird cage observatory. They're delivering a human-size birdcage, which I'll put a brass telescope in."
Fortunately, the country cutie can afford to deck out her home anyway she likes -- she raked in an estimated $18 million in earnings last year. Despite her grand plans, Taylor says she's a simple girl at heart. "I love Target and Walmart," she shares. "I find the coolest things there."

CW Early Renewal Statuses For All Shows Keeps Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries & Might Axe Melrose Place
Apparently THE CW is deep in contracts negotiations and is finalizing the paperwork for renewing :
Gossip Girl ,90210 ,Smallville ,Supernatural , America's Next Top Model, and The Vampire Diaries for next season.
Expect official renewal announcements for the above shows later this month.
One Tree Hill: There are some messy contracts and negotations and it could go either way but even if renewed it will likely have budget cuts and maybe lose more cast members and producers. SOAPNET has the option of renewing it if the CW were to cancel it.
Life Unexpected: The CW is very happy with it's performance so far but is afraid to made a "Southland" decision so they're waiting for more data but it is leaning heavily on renewal. However it is likely to be back midseason.
Melrose Place: decision will be made in May but baring a miracle don't expect it back. Though the CW is pleased with it's recent rerun ratings' slight improvement and there is some international interest in the show.

Super Bowl: Most Watched Show EVER
Super Bowl XLIV is officially the most watched TV program in history!
The game, held on Sunday (February 7) drew 106.5 million viewers, according to THR, with an 8% increase in viewership over last year’s game.
The previous record for the most watched TV program was set by M*A*S*H’s final episode, which brought in 105.79 million viewers.
In case you weren’t one of the 106 million watching, the New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in the match!

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time- Superbowl Spot
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was advertised during the Super Bowl over the weekend - and now we’ve got an even better look at the forthcoming film!
In theaters May 28th, Prince of Persia stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a prince teaming up with a rival princess (Gemma Arterton) to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a deadly sandstorm. The movie is based on the video game.

Howard Stern told his satellite radio listeners on Monday that he is considering leaving Sirius – and radio altogether — to become a judge on “American Idol.”
Stern confirmed a report that Fox is interested in hiring the Sirius shock jock to replace Simon Cowell on the reality show.
“There’s not a better job on the planet than judging that f—ing karaoke contest,” Stern said.
“It might be possible, we’ll see,” he said, adding: “They’d have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough.”
Stern’s five-year, $500 million contract with Sirius expires at the end of the year.
“It would be the best thing that happened to me,” he said. “What a cush job — $100 million for four months. Who wouldn’t take that?”

Carrie Underwood set to Appear on Sesame Street as “Carrie Underworm” VIIDEO
Carrie Underwood is set to appear on America’s longest running children’s television show, Sesame Street, as a specially created character known as “Carrie Underworm.”
Carrie recorded the song, “The Worm Anthem,” specifically for the show.
Carrie’s episode is currently scheduled to air February 11th, March 17th , April 8th, and April 26th on PBS.

Usher CD DELAYED/PUSHED BACK AGAIN By Jive Records
We hear the crooner has had his latest CD, which was supposed to be released Sunday, pushed back until March 30th.
Why the delay? A source at the "Confessions" singer's record company says Jive Records refused to put Usher's album out until he signs with a new management firm.
Apparently the crooner and his mother -- and former manager-- Jonetta Patton are officially on the outs and severed their professional ties in late November 2009.
"She walked away from the project because Usher had his girlfriend [and former Def Jam executive] Grace Miguel was all in the mix," says the source.
"She felt as though if she didn't end things when she did, it would permanently affect their personal relationship," continues the source.
Usher had apparently declared that he would manage himself, with the help of Miguel, but the label felt that "there was chaos in the camp."
Jive has released three singles in an attempt to launch the CD "Raymond vs. Raymond."
The first single, "Papers," which was released last September, only reached No. 31 on the Billboard Hot 100, so the label began working two more new singles, "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" and "More."
But there may be hope for the singer yet: It appears Usher is close to signing an agreement with AEG Live CEO Randy Phillips, manager for Lionel Richie, Toni Braxton and the late Michael Jackson.
In fact, Usher was spotted sitting at Phillip's table at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy bash.
Just as Usher's career may be looking up, it appears his love life is, too.
Our source says that despite Usher's attempts to downplay his romantic involvement with Miguel, the former Def Jam exec also was by Usher's side during Grammy weekend in L.A.
The two were spotted "holding hands," and Usher was seen "gently caressing her back" when he thought no one was looking at L.A. Reid's post-Grammy party at the L.A. restaurant Cecconi's.
Neither a rep for Usher nor for Jive Records returned a request for comment by deadline.
